2012 ANNUAL SCIENTIFIC MEETING

101 years!
Dear Colleagues:
The 102nd Seattle Surgical Society Annual meeting is fast approaching.
Your Board of Governors has helped to design a fantastic program
around the theme of “Surgeon of the Future.” While we
continue to revise our program we wanted to make sure you were aware
of several dates and approaching deadlines.
The Annual Meeting will be held on Friday, January 13th
at the Westin Hotel in Seattle. The evening dinner program
will again be held at The Columbia Tower Club. As always, spouses
and significant others are welcome and encouraged to attend! .
Our Annual Program will include another session of 3 minute Resident/Fellow
papers in competition for cash prizes. Deadline
for abstract submission is November 11. Please give
strong consideration to inviting your resident or fellow to the
evening dinner if they are competing in the resident competition.
It is a great way to encourage and reward their efforts and builds
our surgical community.
Finally, a word about recruitment. The Annual meeting is a great
way to introduce prospective members to our organization. Share
our program with your partners, invite them to a monthly meeting
and help our organization continue its second century of growth.
