2021 virtual Annual meeting
Friday, February 5 - Saturday, February 6
On behalf of Dr. Scott Helton, President of the Seattle Surgical Society, we are pleased to invite you join us for our annual meeting to be held virtually on February 5-6, 2021. The program can be viewed below. We are excited to have Dr. Danny Jacobs as our Keynote Speaker discussing OHSU’s approach to creating a more inclusive health care system. We will also include our resident abstract presentations each day. A COVID-19 session with Dr. Lisa Jackson and Dr. Cyrus Shahpar is scheduled for Friday morning.
On Saturday, we will conduct our Business Meeting with members only. Followed by more abstract presentations and a History lesson about Virginia Mason Hospital by Dr. John Ryan. We are going to play Hollywood Squares for residents instead of Jeopardy. That should be fun.
We are excited to announce that we are offering CME accreditation for this virtual meeting. We anticipate over 6 hours of credit.
We are partnering with Whova conference solutions to provide you an app that contains all the information you'll need for the Meeting. Whova has a lot to offer so we hope you'll take time to acclimate to its built-in fun. The app will be updated daily with new information, any scheduling changes, and networking.
